I was surprised that the unit had not been thoroughly cleaned. The dishwasher is not useable due to mold and mildew, despite numerous cleansings. We do, however, really love the unit and are simply avoiding using the dishwasher. There's always a period of adjustment when one takes occupancy of a new place to live, but overall, it's been a joy to have a great place to call home.
